Joel was born and raised in Moose Jaw. He and his wife Cheryl raised their family on a farm near Mossbank, just south of the city. They moved back to Moose Jaw in 2017 and have been active in the community ever since. Joel serves on the board of St Aidan Church and helps coordinate the weekend lunch program there. He has served on several other boards and committees and also coaches youth volleyball. He is excited to be a part of Hope Ministries and desires to see it become a beacon of light, compassion, and hope in the city of Moose Jaw.
