Larry D. James is a dedicated individual with a diverse background, both professionally and personally. Born and raised in the United States, Larry became a naturalized Canadian citizen after relocating to Canada. A proud US military veteran, Larry’s service experience has deeply shaped his commitment to helping others.

Larry is a graduate of Briercrest Bible College in Caronport, Saskatchewan, and spent his career contributing to his community in various impactful roles. He retired from a long and fulfilling career with the Canadian Pacific Railway and has also worked as an addictions worker at the now-defunct Angus Campbell Centre. In addition, Larry served as an Emergency Duty Worker for Riverside Mission/Souls Harbour Mission, helping individuals and families in crisis.

Together with his wife, Beth, Larry is actively involved in their church’s children’s ministry, where they dedicate their time and energy to guiding the next generation. Larry and Beth are also passionate volunteers at Hope Mission, where they prepare and serve meals to those facing food insecurity in the Moose Jaw community.

A father to four adult children and a grandfather to four grandchildren, Larry finds joy and fulfillment in family life. His life is a testament to service, compassion, and a deep commitment to his faith and community.
